Welcome
Welcome to the project "Von der Flut in die Glut / Floods to Fires." Our aim is to raise awareness of the connectedness of ecological disasters and raise money for those affected by the flooding in Germany. We will journey by bicycle to the fire zones in the Balkans and bring along a bottle of water from the flood areas in Germany. A symbolic gesture that may not quell the fires or alleviate the sense of helplessness in the face of global warming and the associated ecological chaos, but it is a gesture - a first step in a longer journey.
